7 - Joy and Sadness

“You have turned my sorrow into joyful dancing.”  Psalm 30 v.11a

 

Here is a Weeping Cherry tree, traditionally in Japanese culture a

symbol of joy and sadness, surrounded by hardy ground cover plants

 that have the strength to survive difficult conditions.

 

Prayer: Sustaining God, hold me in my moments of sadness and joy.
